Multi Stove Maintenance & Servicing
Regular maintenance of your Multi Stove is recommended for several reasons.
Servicing your wood burner provides peace of mind by preventing dangerous chimney fires from creosote buildup, ensuring safe carbon monoxide levels, and keeping the appliance running efficiently, which saves fuel and money.
Cleaning baffles, removing debris, and ensuring a clear chimney allows the stove to operate more efficiently, providing more heat and using less fuel.
Regular servicing identifies and addresses potential issues, preventing small problems from becoming major, costly repairs and extending the overall lifespan of your stove.
A professional can spot and address issues that a boat owner might miss, such as damage to stove bricks, faulty rope seals, or corroded components, and offer advice on correct usage.
A well-maintained stove performs better, providing optimal heat output and a clean, effective burn.
A professional service checks for safety hazards and ensures your stove is not a source of carbon monoxide, a serious risk with unmaintained appliances.
No matter what the scenario presents, we have four main rules that all have to be followed.
Risk Identification
We will identify potentially hazardous situations or faults in installations and great risk assessments based on the inspections we undertake.
Risk Categorisation
Uses a system of assessment levels to categorise risks, danger to the user and action that must be followed.
Consumer Communication
We will communicate our findings to the consumer through clear reporting or issuing a warning notice if the installation is immediately dangerous.
Evidence & Remedial Action
We will provide evidence of of our findings to better help the customer understand the issues, and will negate the risks identified.
Any stove that we touch, becomes our responsibility, therefore no corners can be cut.
All our inspections follow the same rules
1. Complete Inspection
2. Safety Check List
3. Risk Assessment & Conclusion
4. Report To The Customer
